Anna and Max’s wedding at Flying Diamond Ranch in Steamboat Springs traded the expected for something moodier. Deep olive draping frames the band, olive banquettes and a statement circular bar anchor the room, and a suspended installation of greenery and mirrored spheres hangs beneath ivory-draped ceilings and iron chandeliers. Tall greenery in urns lines the perimeter, so the whole tent feels wrapped in one cohesive design.
The design shifted direction partway through planning, and the result became one of the clearest pictures of what we do. A tent begins as a blank space, so the drapery, the lighting, the bar, and every place a guest might sit were decided on purpose. It’s design and logistics working as one plan, built to carry the night from dinner straight onto the dance floor.
